SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel by providing educational programs, events and competitions that support career and technical education (CTE) in the nation’s classrooms.  Since 1974, WELSCO, Inc. has proudly sponsored/supported the Arkansas SkillsUSA program by providing all of the welding equipment and machines, plasma cutters, torch outfits, gas and consumables, as well as the support staff necessary to assist during the competition.  The Arkansas SkillsUSA event takes place on April 14th at the Hot Springs Convention Center.  If you haven't ever witnessed or participated in the event, please make it a point to come and watch America's young, talented students display their skills.
